Garden Enclave

KESTREL
Kestrel is a senior politician in the Garden Enclave legislative body. She is also a punk rock singer and social justice activist with an indigenous, urban-working-class background. She is committed to keeping the Enclave in line with her values and has spent her life between the front lines on the street and the back-room playing politics. Protecting the Enclave from outside pressures and internal regressive voices, Kestrel is shrewd and passionate. Many a man has misjudged her punk-rock swagger for lack of seriousness; but you wouldn’t want to get in her way.
GAIUS NOX
Rev. Gaius Nox is a spiritual leader and head priest at the Church of the Holy Earth, a multi-denominational house of worship. With a mysterious capacity to see the unseen, he has spent his life traveling the world and growing as a practitioner of the metaphysical arts. He doesn’t discuss his past or esoteric mysteries, preferring to focus on the work of holding the spiritual heart for community. He knows that without strong spiritual traditions, the Meld is only one emotional breakdown away.
SEN
Sen, given name Chankrisna, is a digital archaeologist, post-apocalyptic network engineer and teenage prodigy. His mother left the family for the Meld when he was very young, and his father was absent, so he mostly had to raise himself. Kestrel took him on as an adoptive brother and always made sure he had enough food, since even as a child he had a tendency to lose himself in creative and technical projects. His computer network has helped the Garden Enclave track harvests and ensure that no one goes hungry.
